Driven to be known as the premier residential investment sponsor in the Southeast, Pine Grove Communities turned to Nimble. for support clarifying and positioning their brand through identity and messaging enhancement, followed by web activation.
As our partnership grew, we became their contributing brand lead for a growing portfolio of community subbrands.
Following a brand discovery workshop with Pine Grove’s co-founders, our strategy and copywriting team developed a foundational messaging toolkit that includes a mission statement, vision manifesto, set of values, formal boilerplate, team bios, services language and a tagline that speaks to Pine Grove’s ability to open doors for families and individuals seeking their ideal home.
Next, we applied Pine Grove’s new identity to a fresh website, designed and built by Nimble.
The site features a pine cone animation that guides users down the homepage, as well as custom illustrative elements and a wheel-and-spoke graphic to address the developer’s audiences directly. Photography strategically and subtly conveys that Pine Grove stays rooted in their values.
To improve impact and ownability, Nimble. expanded and refined Pine Grove’s identity system and usage guidelines, inclusive of an identifiable hand-crafted illustration style that evokes a human touch.
FEATURED COMMUNITY SUBBRAND: FOXGROVE ON CASTLEBERRY
Foxgrove on Castleberry is a single-family and townhome community being developed by Pine Grove Communities in Dawsonville, Georgia on acres of farmland.
Inspired by nature and exploration, Nimble. gave the community a name that’s expressive, curious and warm—and gives a nod to Pine Grove. The color palette incorporates a signature ‘hunters’ orange, anchored by a deep navy, nature-inspired hues and supporting seasonal shades. A tagline and community boilerplate complete the foundational identity.
The star of Foxgrove’s brand is perhaps its memorable fox character that symbolizes adventure, curiosity and resiliency (and presents opportunities for apparel and accessories that foster community pride).
FEATURED COMMUNITY SUBBRAND: MAYRIDGE CANTON
Located in the rapidly growing Canton, Mayridge is another single-family and townhome community that Nimble. was fortunate enough to help Pine Grove launch.
We developed its name and base visual identity, including logomarks, color standards and type standards, as well as early-stage messaging tools for preliminary marketing. A custom typemark leads an ownable and timeless identity that feels equally joyful and homespun. The color palette, inspired by the flora of springtime, connects with the community’s name.
Guided by the drivers our strategists developed (Natural Haven; Sense of Adventure; Full of Heart) in addition to competitive and market research, our design team created an identity that appeals to young families and empty nesters while communicating the quality of the development.
Recently, the Pine Grove team approached Nimble. to create a custom map highlighting Mayridge’s location and proximity to the surrounding Downtown Canton area—serving as a unique gift for new residents.
